🎤 EIH STATEMENT AND BANS ANNOUNCED
The EIH has reaffirmed its stance on the use of sticks as a dangerous weapon following two separate incidents. Tom Wakefield (Billingham Buccaneers) and Jay Lucas (Whitely Bay Warriors) have both been handed bans that end their season in October. A statement released by DoPS (Department of Player Safety) confirmed:
“Following a disciplinary review into the NIHL fixture on 18/10/2025, EIH has imposed a 20-game suspension (effectively the remainder of the season), together with mandatory education and return-to-play conditions.”
